Our Purpose
Foundation Baptist Church exists to glorify God by
- Passionately serving God’s Word by
- Preaching the whole counsel of God in order to instruct believers to Christ-likeness and separation from the world
- Administering the ordinances of the New Testament church
- Defending the faith by faithfully teaching the fundamental doctrines of Scripture
- Exalting the Almighty God in worship by
- Corporate singing of Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs
- Giving as to the Lord
- Presenting ourselves individually as living sacrifices, holy, acceptable to the Lord for the purpose of spreading the fame of God and the saving truth of God in our community and around the world
- Unceasingly seeking God through prayer for all men by
- Emphasizing the ministry of prayer for the lost, for each other, and for our elected officials showing our dependency on God to work through His servants
- Edifying the body of Christ by
- Preaching, admonishing and exhorting
- Actively stimulating one another to love and to good works
- Seeking to encourage one another in brotherly love, regular fellowship, and the ministry of intercessory prayer
- Seeking to win the lost by
- Faithfully preaching the whole Gospel of Christ
- Actively and passionately seeking those who would believe through corporate evangelism in our community and person witness
- Seeking to plant more local churches here and throughout the world
